What software can you use? Here are some answers.
With the arrival of the new Uniden UBCD396XT handheld scanner also comes the issue of programming it.
For whatever reason Uniden no longer supplies computer software to assist in programming the unit and unfortunately the previous version for its predecessor, the UBCD396T will not work.
So what can you do? Firstly don't stress, all is not lost!
If you're inclined and have fingertips made of steel and the patience for it you can always do it by hand. I'm guessing you feel the same way about this that I do, not going to happen is it?
